Harry Slcbert Smltl business manager of the Sonora Grand Opera Company, concluded arrangements whereby this excellent excel-lent oiKttuizatlon will present three grand operas at the Lyric theatre the-atre commencing on Wednesday, April Ap-ril 14th. The company will present cm the opening night Verdi's Immortal Immor-tal "II Travatorc" with Grazlanl-Crus Beatrice I'lwornl nnd Sperla Castel singing the leading roles. On Thursday Thurs-day matinee "Lucia 1)1 Lammcrmoor" will bo presented and on this occasion occa-sion Consuelo Medina .the Coloratura will be seen for ths first time. Practically Prac-tically unknown In America, Medina ha enraptured staid 'musical critics by her wonderful range and elasticity of voice.' She possesses, besides a beautiful voice, comllness of face and figure and her rendition of Ottda has won her Instant recognition as a potent ltval of Tetraszlnl. Kduardo Jejarazu, late of the Boston Bos-ton Opera Company, plays the barl ' tone role and his acting ag well as his singing is a feature. The final performance will be "The Masked Ball" given at tho suggestion of several sev-eral Logan people, This capable company carries halt a hundred artists, special costumes and scenery for each production nnd can lea Its own grand opera orchestra which is under tho direction of the famous Muostio, Ignacio Del Castillo.
