Promotion will bo rapid to men of high character who show proficiency In their particular line. Applicants must bo between 18 and 45, of good habits and freo from bodily defects and diseases. They must bo citizens, and ablo to speak, read and wrlto tho English language. Two certificates certifi-cates of good moral character and proof of known ability along their special lines of endeavor must bo furnished by each applicant. Registered Reg-istered men may enlist in tho Reservo Corps up to tho time of their selection. selec-tion. Pay offered, together with clothing, cloth-ing, shoes, etc., medical and doctor attendance furnished freo, is as follows: fol-lows: Sergeants wagonmasters, saddlers, blacksmiths, truckmasters, machln- ists, chauffeurs, overseers, clefks and farrlors, $44 per month and all found; scrgeaut first class clerks, 51 month and found; sergeant borseshoers, $38 and found; cooks, $36 and found; corporal blacksmiths', $36 and found; corporal assistant wagonmasters, $36 and found; privates, pri-vates, first class, teamsters, skilled laborers and watchmen, $33' - and found. It Is hoped that men will readily respond and that tho six companies, to be formed in Salt Lake City and Ogden, Utah, will bo rapidly filled up- at an early date.
