| Show Nameless Buildings I i l. l If the streets of Salt Lake city Qty City were not named if the houses houses' along the streets were not numbered what would be said by the majority of people of Salt Lakes Lake's city officials Yet at the University campus with the exception of the Park building the Medical J building and the Bureau of Mines l there is not one one one building which bears the name by which it is generally known In addition to th this s there arc only the Park the Physics and the Bureau of Mines l building which display directories of the rooms t I. I The Thet visitor to the University campus is confronted with a serious senous problem when he Attempts to find himself on the ca campus pus When Then he enters the grounds there ther is no o map map of the campus by which he may determine his direction e If he attempts to find a certain building on the circle he lie must first go to the Park building to find his bearings and once the building is found he must go from cellar t to garret to find the desired room Some systematic tic arrangement of names displayed over the portals of these buildings together r with a map at the campus entrance 1 r 1 would v uld aid materially in furnishing the campus cam cam- pus with a business like appearance It would assist new students in finding their classrooms It would aid visitors in finding their destina destina- ti ns With a little expenditure of time and money this fault could be minimized and at atthe atthe atthe the same time save the tempered feelings of some of the more irritable visitors |
