Show EARLY riRE ON SATUR. BURNS MERCHANDISE An early morning flro at Cacho Junction Saturday, burned tho entire stock of merchandise bolonglng to L. F. Wlnchell, tho prominent merchant merch-ant of that place. Mr. Wlnchell was not home at tho tlmo of tho flro, but tho entlro male population of tho placo turned out and did what they could to save the man's household affects, but the flames had reached such proportions that thoy did well to savo tho piano nnd drossor. Tho origin of the flro la not known. Mr. Wlncholl had over $3000 worth of merchandise In tho placo. It was Insured for 42300. The building bo-longed bo-longed to Sheriff John II. Barker. Tho postofflco near by was slightly slight-ly burned on one sldo but all tho office fixtures wero saved. Tho sympathy sym-pathy ot the community goos out to Mr. Wlnchell in tho loss ho sustained. He was visiting .with his brother ot Idaho Falls at the time ot tho fife. |
