Tho conferonco held In tho Sixth ward on Sunday, February 18th, was anothor history making occasion and marked another epoch In the wards' advancement. It was n day of rejoicing re-joicing among tho bishopric. Bishop Oscar F. Rico and his counselors,, Ollf I. Pcderson and N. A. Larson, as well as mong every mombor of tho ward. Tho work of renovating tho meeting meet-ing house had been completed, It had been put in a condition of newness, as far as tho Interior was concerned, tho ward debt had been raised, and tho meeting houso free from obligation obliga-tion was ready to bo dedicated to tho holiness of tho Lord. Tho meeting houso has cost tho Sixth ward peoplo $18,974, and tho recent renovating cost $659, and overy cent of It has been paid with a balanco on hand of $28.39. Tho work of Holmgren and Nielsen of this city, who worked out tho schemo of decorating 'tho walls, Is nothing short of a work of art.
