Show MANY SOCIALS AT WELLSVILLE TH1SWEEK Wellsville, April 4. A beautiful Easter party was given by tho members mem-bers of tho Clement club for their husbands at the home of Mr. aud Mrs. Ilobort Lelshman. The room? wero lovely with Easter lilies and daffodils. At 12 o'clock a dainty luncheon was served by Miss Ethel Bradshaw and Gladys and Ouennle Lelshman to the following: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Maughan, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Bronchloy, Mr. and Mrs. John Brenchley, Mr. and Mrs. John Woodward, Wood-ward, Mr. and Mrs. Lorln Haslam, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Darloy, Mr. and Mrs. Ilobort Lelshman, Mr. and Mrs. Itobert Bradshaw, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Drenchley, Mr. and Mrs. Will Brench-ley, Brench-ley, Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Bailey, and Mrs. Ar-Zetta Ar-Zetta Parkinson. Games and music supplied the evening's entertainment. Miss Margaret Parker entertained for a fow of her girl friends at tin home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber C. Parker, March 28. Candy and music wero enjoyed during tho evening. The friends of Mr. Clarenco Hendry Hen-dry gavo a delightful farewoll party April 2. A delicious lunch was served to about fifty. American beauty roses furnished the decora tions. Mr. Hendry leaves with his parents for Welser In a few days, where they intend to make their future fu-ture homo. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bailey entertained, enter-tained, March 26, at dinner. Ferns were tastefully arranged on the tabic A baby girl arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Myers, March 29. Dr. Reese was in attendance. All reported doing fine. Let us congratulate tho members of tho Maughan and Wells camp of tho Daughters of Pioneers for their successful efforts In entertaining the pioneers. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Glenn entertained, enter-tained, April 1, for Mr. and Mrs. Lorln Haslam, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brenchloy, Mrs. Cyril Allen, Misses Effle and ZeTla Glenn, and Mr. Lavon Daxter. A daintily appointed lunch was served. Music was enjoyed during dur-ing the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Parker and children havo gone to Salt Lake for a week's stay with relatives and friends. Mr. Preston Maughan, who Is attending at-tending the University of Utah, spent tho wepk-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Maughan. , Jlrs. Vim. H. and Miss Barbara Maughan went to Salt Lake Tuesday to attend conference. Tho program rendered ren-dered was as follows; Speech of welcome. wel-come. Prcsidont Ellon Maughan; re citation, "A Tribute to tho Pioneers.' by Maggo Smurthwalte; song, "The Last Rose of Summer." by Sellna Darley; comic reading, "Tho Jenkln's Go on a Picnic," by Jane Walters; pioneers' experience, F. C. Ounnell; violin solo, Daniel Walters; history of Wellsville by Kate Garrett; singing, sing-ing, "Oh, Ye Mountains High"; benediction bene-diction by John Glenn. After tho program a delicious luncheon was served to 175 pioneers. Another program followed tho luncheon. A danco In tho Pavilion for all married peoplo ended the day's enjoyment. Mr. and Mrs. Wlllard Parker entertained en-tertained Friday, March 30, at a beautifully appointed dinner. Ferns were usoif for tho table decoration. Covers woro laid for ten.
