McAllstor, who returned Friday evening to Logan Lo-gan after serving nt tho Officers' training camp at tho Presidio slnco May, was ono of two men from Utah who made the regular United State? army, having been nsslgned to tho Eighth Cavalry at Fort Bliss, Texas, whero ho expects to go and tako up his duties about August 29. Until that time ho will remain In Logan visiting vis-iting with his mother nnd other relatives. rela-tives. Lieut. McAllster wns ono of the first Logan boys to enlist his services ser-vices with his country. Ho was ono of the charter members of Troop H, and spent about eight months on tho Mexican border, during which time ho was troop supply sergeant. Hla attention to duty soon nttracted tho attention of his superior officers, and ho had no difficulty In being recommended recom-mended to tho first Officers' training camp. While at tho camp, ho ha received a training that qualities him to tako a troop of now men nnd put them through n courso of training that will mnko real soldiers out of them. Local friends of Lieut.
