Show COURT AFFIRMS INLOW 8ENTENCE Salt Lake, April 25. Declaring the evidence to bo such that the Jury might well have found the defendant guilty of murder in tho flrst degree,-the degree,-the supreme :ourt of Utah today handed down an opinion affirming the conviction of CaJeb A. Inlow of murder mur-der In tho second degreo for the kill-" ing of Thomas Eddlo White, a public chauffeur, October G, 1912. This means that Inlow must spend tho remainder re-mainder of his life in tho state prison unless at somo future tlrao ho Is extended ex-tended clemency by tho Btato board of pardons. Genevieve Inlow, Jointly charged with her husband of murder In tho flrst degree, still faces the charge, though she Is ft liberty under bonds of $5000. Now that Inlow's case 1b disposed of It 1,8 expected the district attorney will recommend that tho cjisp, nealnst Mrs. Inlow bo dis missed and tho defendant discharged. She is now BUlng for divorce. Numerous contentions of error anu misconduct on the part of the trial court are swcpt.alde by the supreme tribunal, which .concludes Its opinion with the declaration: Indeed, the evidence ev-idence is such that the Jury' might have found him (Inlow) guilty of murder in the flrst degree. In its opinion the supremo court touches touch-es upon only the most important ones and in none of them is thero found any ground for a reversal of the case.
