Mr. Theurer was ono of tho early pioneers of Utah, having had all tlio experiences experien-ces of tho Echo Canyon wars, f Ho came to Utah in tho year 1837 in tho Israel Evans Hand cart company and bottled In Providence In 185'J, where he has resided ever since. Mr. Theurer has been a consistent Lat-terdry Lat-terdry Saint during all the years ho has been connected with tho church. He served as a missionary to Germany Ger-many during the years 1878-80. lie has served In various capacities In his town, as school trustee and member mem-ber of town board. His voca'tlon has been thct of a farmer In which he has been very successful. Tho speakers nt tlio services wero Elders Adolph Uaer, Otto Gasman, Alma Mathews, President William Budge, President S. F. Balllf, President Pres-ident Arnold Schulthess, and Bishop Fuhrlmnn Tho deceased was the father df eight daughters who survive him. A splendid trlbuto was paid to tho memory of this good man by all the speakers and especially by his numerous num-erous friends and relatives who attended, at-tended, the services. |
