Ho Bald he did not know whether ho was under indictment or not, but if ho was not ho ought to bo and ho wished to bo returned to tho authorities ot Nebraska. Nows dispatches show that Felt was Indicted on seven counts by n special federal grand Jury at Lincoln, Nobrnska, March 7, charged with cm-bozzlemont cm-bozzlemont of $3,522 and conversion to his own uso ot notes aggregating $8,100. On February 7, tho llev. D. Fitzgerald of Superior received n letter in which Felt wroto thi.t ho Intended to surrender himself. In dofault, howovor, of nny official information that nn indictment was out, tho mnrshnl did not nrrest Felt, but merely kept him under nurvoll-lanco nurvoll-lanco until ho could hear from Sup-erlor Sup-erlor In reply to his inquiries by telegraph. |
