Nearly one thousand acres of grain havo been planted this year where nono has been planted bo-fore. bo-fore. Hundreds of acres of beets, good alfalfa fields and gardens also have been added to tho producing land surrounding Logan. In doing the drainage far this area more than sixty miles of tile have been laid, three miles of open drains dug, and two thousand acres of land plowed and harrowed. By reason of the success of this drainage drain-age 100,000 feet of tllo havo been laid or contracted for In land Immediately Im-mediately adjoining this project, while throughout tho valley greater interest has been developed for tills class of reclamation work. Several men connected with the Commercial Boosters Club and other oth-er prominent men have arranged to go down to theprdject at 5 o'clock this afternoon.
