Show NEWS BUDGET FROM HYRUM Hyrum, April 18. Funeral services serv-ices over the. remains of Albert J. , Williams were held la the Third, ward meeting house at 2 p.- ra. on Wednesday. Bishop Louis P. Maugh-an Maugh-an conducted the services. Appropriate Appropri-ate singing was furnished1 by the choir. Prayer was offered by N. J. Nlelson. The speakers were Elders Z. W. Israelson, James Unsworth, C. F. Olson and. James J. Facer, who all spoke of the departed ns a man who in all things had 5 been' honest and true. A man. whe 'had always been striving to learn his duties .and faithfully discharging them to" the best of his ability. Intermixed with the speakers, a duet was beautifully sung by Horace1 and Let Nlelson. and a solo very ably rendered by J. T. Wahlen. The floral offerings wcro many and beautiful. A host ot relatives from far and near attended the funeral services, as also a large representation of. the people ot Hyrum. Hy-rum. A large cortege followed the remains to the cemetery where the choir sang. Resting Now From 'Care and Sorrow, while the casket was being be-ing lowered. A party was given In honor of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Alien, newly weds, at the residence of Bishop A. A. Allen Al-len ot the Second ward, last Thursday Thurs-day evening, by the young, lady friends ot the bride. The evening was spent' In games and music. A delicious luncheon was served. The young couple were the recipients of many valuablejand useful presents. Mr. Arthur Jenson, clerk of the County Board ot Education, who has lived In Logan for some years, has evidently came to the conclusion that there is no place like home, Inasmuch In-asmuch as Mr. Jenson has moved back to Hyrum to live, and is now occupying the residence formerly owned by Mr. Hyrum Anderson in the Third ward. A tine son was' born to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Peterson last Monday. Mon-day. All concerned are doing very nicely. . "Mr. David A. Jenson Is suffering from a severe attack of typhoid fever. fe-ver. ( Mrs. J. J. Dailey and Miss Nina Jjshnson received the sad news last tmday afternoon ot the death of their sister, Mrs. Julia Parkinson, which occurred, the same day at Rex-burg, Rex-burg, Idaho. Mrs. Parkinson was the oldest daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ju-lius Johnson of this city,, and has been sick with bright's disease ' for some time. Her- mother has been at her bedside for several weeks, ''and In connection with .others rendered nil assistance possible. Mrs DoUey and Miss Jornson left last Saturday Sornlng for Rexburg to be present the funeral. .. Sad news has reaohed our cjty of the death of Mr, .Lester Nlelson', son of Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Nlelson, ot Hyrum. Mr. Lester Nlelson who. was away from home looking .after his' Interests In a 'new flour mill in Montana,,, Mon-tana,,, died quite' suddenly from an attack ot pneumonia.
