Tho powoi company submitted figures which showed that hay could, bor mealed at o, cost of about 50 cents por ton for powor. This was less than half ol what It had cost with steam bosjdot eliminating considerable firo risk and Inconvenlcnco and saving tho services servic-es of a steam engineer. .After somo consideration tho Livestock Live-stock Co., accepted tho power compa-pany's compa-pany's proposition and In preparation has buldt a largo4 granary for storing stor-ing tho ground meal, and a shed for tho protection of tho machinery. It is Intended to supply all tho food yards of tho company from tho Logan plant, tho granary ..bolng used fot storage from which shipments to the other yards will bo made Crudo or second run molasses will bo mixed with tho. hay pjeal render Ing It vory palatablo and tasty. The syrup also makes It feasible to grind up straw for feed aa tho mixture makes a very nourishing food out of cheap by-products. Tho mill used Is a J. I. Caso 30 Inch equipped with n syrup mixer.
