Show FORMAL 0PENIN6 OF SOUTH CACHE HIGH SCHOOL Tho gala event of tho week at Hy-rum Hy-rum was the formal opening of tho new South Cache High School Monday. Mon-day. Deglnning with a rousing farewell fare-well to tho old ouarters on tho public pub-lic square and concluding with a reception re-ception and matineo danco in the late afternoon, tho day was ono long to bo remembered by those Interested Interest-ed in tho cause of education in Cache county. Assisting in tho festivities wero tho county Board of Education, Superintendent It. V. Larsen, and numerous nu-merous municipal and church authorities, auth-orities, and patrons bad gathered for tho affair from various totalities supporting sup-porting the school, Including Newton, New-ton, Cache Junction, Mendon,' Wells-vllle, Wells-vllle, Paradise, Avon and Providence. Immediately after dismissal of tho classes Friday, tho movo was begun. Hy Mondny morning tho equipment wns In place, ready for tho continuance continu-ance of school work Tuesday. Tho first of tho ceremonies was the farowell to tho old buildings held at 9:30 Monday morning. President Milton Jensen of tho student body addressed tho assembly, and cheors and school songs wore contributed by the students. Then followed tho procession of officials, faculty, students stu-dents and patrons to tho new school building erected on tho eminence west of the city. As the lino of march approached tho ediflco tho Amorlcan flag was unfurled from the top, and at the main entrance tho building was formally presented to the students by John S. Leatham of the Hoard of Education. In tho assembly room 'the following follow-ing program was carried out: Selection, Orchestra. "Utah Wo Lovo Theo," School choir. Invocation, Alvln Allen.
