The teachers hac a bowl ol soup, bread and butter, chocolate auc desert, for three cents each. Tin children who have driver a long distance, dis-tance, and who have been compelled to eat cold lunch are, especially pleased pleas-ed with this arrangement. Those whe have eaten cold lunch arc not the only ones who have suffered as man children have been accustomed tt I ringing a nickel and byuing dinner The schools will close for tin Christmas acation next week. Thorough courses in carpentry for the boys and cooking for the girls 'u given to all pupils from the sixth to eighth grade inclusive. |
