He formerly was in charge of tho Swiss and (ierman mission. mis-sion. Mr. Cannon Is a 'son of John M. Cannon of Salt Lake City. I Among others who have Just returned return-ed from mission work aro James I). Johnson of Hlackfoot, Idaho, who was In Scotland, and Elmer H. Edwards of I'anaca, Nevada, who was In tho Hrlstol conference, England. Mrs. Abigail Illntze Florence, who ! has been In Lale, Hawaiian Islands, for eighteen months, has returned homo on account of her health. Mr. Florence remained In Hawaii to continue con-tinue his work there. Emma V. Ooffo 'and Mary C. Hasmussen who were teachers lit Hawaii have retumed homo. U. Asbton Jones of Cedar City, sou of Uriah Jones of that place, after completing his service In the eastern ttatcs mission, especially In Muryland has returned to his homo In Cedar City Louis 'fhomas of I.chl, who was working In the sume Held, nine; has re turned homo. With them came Krvln J. Fawns from the same Held who left yeiterday foi his homo In Alberta, Canada, after a brief stay In Salt Lake. Miss Ilelga Pedersen who ruturnd recently from New York where she was stenographer In the mission olllc-es, olllc-es, has been given a clerlc.il position In tho Uescrct Museum. |
