Welsels, a member of tho firm, Welsels said that tho "negotiations started with a proposition by the syndlcato to buy tho real estate holdings of tho club. For this property prop-erty $125,000 was offered. Mrs. Schuyler Brltton, howover, was un-willing un-willing to sell tho real estate hold-Ings hold-Ings only. Mrs. Brltton asked $400,000 for tho club and its realty holding. The local lo-cal syndlcato, represented by tho real cstato firm la willing to pay $375,000. Thoro tho negotiations stand today. Welsels would not disclose ths nnmes of tho men In tho syndicate, but expressed confldenco that the deal would go through.
