It was Prnb-ably Prnb-ably tho most exciting event that lias been held In Mendon for some tlmo. Some two weeks ago a fow citizens from tho south part of town called tlio peoplo together In a primary and nominated a ticket for tho coming election. It seems as though they had some dlfllculty in getting their ticket filled, so thoy decided to meet In tho primary last night and there renominated. All tho town was now ptlrred up to the conditions, thcro of course, being a division In tho town on nominees. Tho division is known as tho North and South. Tho North wero successful In get-in get-in all their nominees, but ono, that being John Gardner, a southerner, who was placed on the ticket. Tho following ticket was named to be voted for at tho coming election: Mayor, William Bartlott; councilman council-man four year term, Fred Larson; councilman for two year term, Robert Rob-ert Forstcr, John Wllllo and John Gardner; clly recorder, Elmer Hancock; Han-cock; treasurer, Allen Wllllo; justice jus-tice of peace, Joseph naker. After tho ticket was named It was voted for unanimously by tho as-Demblago. |
