Tho biplane was piloted by Lieut. H. Q. Jones, With Llout. T. D. Milling Mill-ing as passenger obBoryer. Doth wero unnwaro of tho Incident until they landed about 3:30 o'clock. Tho blplano was not struck, but ono ballot bal-lot hit tho army wireless station at Fort IJrown and ano'ther was picked up near tho city hall in this city. Tho aircraft, which was sent horo recently for border patrol duty, had mado a clrclo near tho Rio Grando when fired upon by tho rlilomen. Upon Up-on making a second clrclo nnd when within about 200 feet of tho river, tho rnttlo of tho machines guns was heard. All tho shots wero fired ocr American Ameri-can territory. Joseph Z.
