Mrs Harriet Har-riet Peacotk, wlfo of James Melkle, one of 'our noble w pioneers passed away Thursday, March 25 at 8 a.m. after a week's sickness. Sister Melkle Mel-kle was born In England, November 10, 1837 and was 77 years of ago.. Joined the church In London in 1853 and came to Smithflold tho fall of 1863. The deceased was married to James Melkle January 3, 1864 and eight children w6ro born to them, Ave of whom are living: James Jj Melkle, .Joseph Melkle, Mrs., Bell Gordon and. Mrs'. Hattle Gordon ot this cUy and, Bishop Gilbert Melkjp of (Cache, Idaho. Her son Alfred Mof-kle Mof-kle having .died some four years ago and 'two sons died when Infants5!' Mrs. Molkle was a woman boloved by all who knew her for her kind 'ness of heart, unassuming In her i way, but ever thoughtful of tho welfare wel-fare of others. She was a most do, voted wlfo, a loving mother nnd n faithful Latterday Saint. Funeral services will bo hold Sunday at 2 p. m. in tho First wnrd tabernnolo. Mrs. Mathilda Erlckson, aged 83 years of ago, died hero Tuesday, March 23. She embraced tho gospel In Sweden and camo to Smithflold twenty throo years ago and was mar-rled mar-rled to Erlck Erltkson nhout twonty-two twonty-two years ago. Deceased leaves ono son, John Dergondahl, who now Hvos in Sweden nnd two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Peterson ot California, nnd Mrs. Carallno Soderburg ot this city children ot a former marriage.
