Show Society The Joseph Smith company of the Daughters of the Pioneers met Thursday Thurs-day uftwnnon at tho homo of Mrs. llert Harbor on Second Fast. Uni-versity. An enjoyable evening was spent last Saturday evening at the home of the Misses Owen and (il.ulys Davis, whore they entertained a number ot girl friends with a Dutch lunch. Those who had. tho pleasure of tho evening, weie the Misses Inez Thaln, Allco Charles, Prtscllla Cooper, Wanda Tar-bet, Tar-bet, Ulzzlo Drysdale, Ada Peterson, Mar Card, Owen Davis and Gladys Davis. A very pleasant social was hold In the Second ward hall when tho ward . choir entertained partners and several sev-eral Invited guests, (lames, music and dancing were Indulged lu. Delicious refreshments wero served. Somo of I the features of the evening wns a singing contest and dancing contest, tho prizes for each being captured by Mrs. Anton Anderson and Mr. Jas A. McMurrln.
