Show FIRE CHIEF ROBBINS DEAD Passes Away Friday Morning at 3 o'clock After. Only a Weeks' Illness. Was A Good Man, Well Respected, With a Large Number of Friends. C. II. Itobbliid, one of Logan's most highly lespeeted cltlcns, one Identified Identi-fied with all that has been vood for Logan in the past, tiled Friday morning morn-ing at :i o'clock fiom an attack of typhoid-pneumonia of only a week's duration, and his death is the source of sincere and deepest regret to a w Ide circle of friends. "Charley" Uobblns, as he was familiarly famil-iarly known to young and old, was one with a big heart and a liberal mind, one whose life was lilted with good deeds, and charity for all mankind, man-kind, and it is the expressed opinion of his friends that no words in his praise can be too stiong The deceased caine to Utah In '.IG from a New Jersey town and In '(13 he came to Cache Valley. In the early days he was a merchant, a member of the llira of Goodwin & Hobblns, and that llrm Is remembered as the most Ilbci.il, one of the fairest and squarest ever conducted In this valley. At this time, Charley Hobblns was a piomlnent man In the alialis of the valley. He was a member of the militia In the early days and was actlc in the Indian In-dian troubles. For years he was a llreman hi the Logan liro department, and for the past few years has been Its eillclent chief. Mr. Uobblns was 70 ycaisof ageon the 'Jlst of September. He was tho father of 11 chlldion, '2$ grand child-len child-len and 4 great grand children. The funeral lakes place tomorrow at 12 o'clock In the Tabernacle.
