I OTHER NOTES OF LOGAN AMUSEMENT MATTERS I The Ice Rink Difficulties, Opera House, and Vaude- I ville Attractions, Reply from Edwards. At the home of Mr. and Mis. L. A. Ostlen east Fhst North, a number of Logan's gentle folk watched the old year fade and with mhtli and laughter greeted the new. While they waited ciicttro served as a past time "and all went mciry as a marrl.igo bell" until rcficshmcnts weie served, and then the time went none the less merrily. The evening summed up by the punch marks in tho tally cards showed Piof. Hcxcll and "ISIshop" Champ tics for tho gentleman's prize. In a cut the bankei's bluff failed to work and Piof. Hcxcll vvas awaided a "poster girl." Mrs. G. II. Champ won the ladles prize, a Gilbert picture. The consolations were awaided Mrs J V. Engle and W. S. Langton. Tho a ITair was veiy pleasant throughout, a littlng beginning to a new ycai. Mr. Charles Fleming piovcd a valuable assistant, as did Mrs. Hall and the Misses Fisher in serving.
