Show Death at Benson Clifford E. Reese, the elcven-v ear-old ear-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Reese, passed away on the 10th, after a brief Illness of a few days. The disease dis-ease which claimed his young life was pneumonia. He was kind to his parents and alwas looked forward to the time when he would be large enough to do all his fathci's woik. Ballaid presided Singing by thewaid choir. 1'iaycr was offered by Peter Frost. The thst speakei was G. W Lindquist, who spoke of the fall of Adam and how death came Into the woildand how Christ came tobilng lrdemptlon. James Cantill was the next speaker, lie said he had no doubt in ids mind but that this boy has ajmlssionto peifoiinon the other side: that possibly It is to bring some of his parents' relation that have died without hearing the gospel to a knowledge of It. The prlmaiy children sang "Nc.uer Dear Savior to Thee." W G. Reese said we aie all called to mouin at different times In our lives. Said that no doubt Clifford's Clif-ford's two loving aunts welcomed him to Ills heavenly home. S. II. Roundy was the last speaker. He lead from the 10th verse of the 14th chapter of Isaiah, and explained It in an excellent excel-lent manner. Benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by Philip Puiser. A large cortege followed the remains to the the cemetery at Hyde Park. |
