Show In the northern part of 'Colorado, within a radius of thirty miles, six sugar factories aio maintained by'thc farmers, that is, they supply tho beets. This Is referred to simply as a comparison com-parison witli what is being done In this county. This fall there will be two factoilcs operating in this county and from present appearances it seems that there will not be the supply jf beets that was expected. As a reminder re-minder to the faimcrs wo again state that notwithstanding the fact that there arc two factories In this valley but one will run If the supply of beets is not sulllclcnt for two. The proper pro-per thing for the farmers to do Is to raise beets. They know there is money in It, In fact they never prospered pros-pered as well In" this vulloy as they have slnco the factory started. A gicat deal of the best beet hand In this valley Is far from tho railroad and it Is to be hoped that facilities will be piovldcd to icmcdy this disadvantage dis-advantage but there Is much land In close proximity to the Logan factory that would raise excellent beets. Tho farmers should use every means possible pos-sible to keep both factories supplied, for this means that more money will be circulated, more men employed and everything In a general way will be more prosperous. |
