Jensen, of Weston, Idaho, was brought to the. Cache Valley L. D. S. hospital with a severe case of appendicitis and was operated on Tuesday. She Is getting along nicely. Dr. A damson, of Richmond, brought Ira Hergescn down from Treasureton, Idaho, to the 0. V. L. D. S. hospital suffering from strangulated hermla. Ho was operated on about 10 o'clock Sunday evening and there are bright hopes of his recovery. Dr. II. J. Talbott, of Salt Lake city, one of the big guns of tho Methodist church, came to Logan Saturday and delighted the lpcal congregation with two excellent sermons. Rev. Talbott is recognized as a man of great breadth of mind and intellectual capacity. The good people of Wcllsvlllc gave Wm. Murray and Franklin Gunnel a farewell "blowout" that was most enjoyable, and then presented each of them with MOO. Roth gentlemen go to Great Rritain on a mission. Wells-vllle Wells-vllle has tho reputation of treating her missionaries royally. The latest news from Miss Hannah Jensen, now In St. Mark's hospital at Salt Lake, Is that she continues to improve. im-prove. At this time it is said that her recovery from tho recent operation opera-tion is probable. Her sisters, Misses Mary and Margaret Jensen, are permitted per-mitted to be with her, and her friends generally arc hopeful. A petition will be presented to the city council tonight asking that the sidewalks on the cast side of Main between be-tween Center and First South streets and First South between Main and First West streets be Included In the restricted bicycle district.
