Ills subject was the preparation of the student. Prcst. W. C. Parkinson of Ilyrum, j and Riley Dixon, a teacher at College i Ward, visited the college Wednesday. Wednesday evening thepupllsof the training school rendered the following Christmas program hi tho large chapel of the college: Song "Star of tho East" Prof. W. O. Robinson Invocation D. C. Jensen Quartette . . .Members of 7th and 8th Grades Stoiy, "Tho Christ Child" Hattle Lawson Opcrattc, "A Christmas for Santa Clause." The largo hall was filled to Its utmost ut-most capacity by parents and students who seemed very much pleased and Interested in the excellent program. The Senior and Junior Basket Ball team plajcd a match game Thursday at 4 o'clock p. m. It tallied 17 to 11 in favor of the Seniors. The class of lOoO gave a basket party In the gynmasluin Thursday. It proved prov-ed a perfect success both socially and financially. Friday morning Santa Clause called at tho training school and gave each pupil a piescnt. The teachers and students met in college chapel at 11 a. m. Friday, after which the following Christinas pro-giam pro-giam was rendered: Song College Choir Invocation W. K.
