The funeral of Mrs. N. S. Hansen, of the Seventh ward of this city, was held at the ward meeting house at 12 o'clock on Thursday. It may be said or Mr. Perclval that ho is a quiet, unassuming unassum-ing gentleman, courteous and consulate; consul-ate; a man who attends strictly to his own business, is or excclcnt character and ability and one whom any community com-munity should, be pleased to have in its midst. The old folks of Cache Stake are piofuse In their praise of the students of the It. Y. C, who lepeated "Pauline" "Paul-ine" for their benefit, and the opera house management who so kindly donated do-nated the use of the building. The performance was highly satisfactory in every respect and was heartily enjoyed en-joyed by the many old people present. This kindly consideration on the part of the It. Y. students Is deserving of the highest praise. John M. Hendricks, an old resident of Rlchmond.and uncle of ex-Treasurei Hendricks of this county, died on Marcl)28th at a hospital in Lenlo, state or Coahlulla, Mexico. Mr. Hendricks bought the railroad outfit of the late Samuel A. Hendricks and has followed follow-ed railroading the past three years. He was striken with a cancer, and finally operated upon two or three times with no good result, dying from its effects as above stated.
