It was a small quarto, with ono page blank- It was intended to be issued monthly; but Harris, having printed "reflexions of a very high nature" in connection with the administration of affairs af-fairs of Massachusetts, it was suppressed by an order issued by the governor. Fourteen vears later that is. in 1704 John Campbell brought out the Boston Bos-ton News Letter It was like its predecessor, printed on coarse brown paper. We quote from our contemporary's reference to it: "In 171!) Campbell enlarged his paper in order, as he told his readers, 'to make the news newer 'ijl and more acceptable.
