Most of tho teachers were re-era-I ployd.v Several new. additions to the H faculty were made and others author-B author-B ized, I Miss Laura Poulson of tho Unlver- I slty of Utah Is given charge of tho de- phrtment of physical education for I women. Miss Poulson is a woman of excellent training and In her lino I ranks easily among the best teachers of tho state Miss Lydla Hanson was appointed Secretary to the President. Mr. P. A. Christensen whs employed as assistant as-sistant In book-keeping and penmanship. penman-ship. Miss Grace Wood was mado assistant as-sistant In the Domestic Arts department, depart-ment, Miss Skldmoro having been granted a leave of absenco for one rear. President Jensen was authorized to employ an assistant Prefessor in education edu-cation and an Instructor In mathemat Ilcs and English. Some readjustments were also - mado in the assignment of positions. The departments of mathematics and physics were combined and glvon to Prof. F. A. Hinckley, Prof. J. W. Gardner takes tho department of history his-tory and political science. Mr. T. II. Porter will conduct the work In forging forg-ing and also serve as superintendent of buildings. Tho duties ot other faculty members remain practically the same as at present. |
