Show MRS. HAWKINS LAIDJOREST Tho funeral services over tho remains re-mains of Mrs. Joseph Hawkins were held in tho Wellsvllle tabernaclo on Tuesday, April Uth. A great many relatives and friends attended tho services. ser-vices. Very excellent and consoling remarks were made by Elders Joseph E. Wilson and John E. Carllslo of Logan, Lo-gan, also President W. H. Maughan of Hyrum Stako and Elder John 15. Baugh nnd Bishop Frnnklln L. Guu-nell Guu-nell of Well8Vlllo ward. Excellent singing was rendered by the Wellsvlllo choir, all of which j-as very much appreciated. Many beautiful flowers were placed upon her casket by loving hnnds. The gravo was dedicated by Elder Alfred Sraurthwalte. Following a prolonged Illness, Mrs. Mary Ann French Fnrnes, wife of Mathew- H. Fames of this city, died of heart failure Thursday, April 18th, at 5:10 a. m. Deceased was born at Bannister Green, Fjelsted, Essex county, England, Eng-land, February 22, 1840, henco was In her eighty-third year. Sho was an old-time old-time resident of tho city and fow, oven of her ago, have such hosts of friends to mourn their loss. Desldes a husband Mrs. Fames is survived by four children: Mrs. John Mltchel of niverdnle, John W. Fames of Mverdalo, Arthur Fames of Salt Lake City and Mrs. J. W. Craw-ford Craw-ford of Logan. Funeral services will, he held In the Sixth ward meeting houso Sunday, April 21st, at 2 p. m. |
