Show BOOSTERMT ELECTS OFFICERS At tho meeting ot tho Board ot Directors Di-rectors of tho Commercial Boosters club held March 27, tho following officers of-ficers were olected for the ensuing year: Mr. H. E. Hatch, president, Mr. T. Leroy Cardon, first vlce-prcsl-doht; Mr. P.A. Thatcher, socond vlco-president; vlco-president; A. H. Thompson, Treasurer; Trea-surer; Mr. M. It. Hovoy, secretary; and Mr. A. Gordon, assistant secretary: secre-tary: It took tho Board a very short tlmo to deterrolno whom It desired for its officers.! The Board at onco expressed a desiro to havo tho samo Presidency and offlcors servo another anoth-er 'term, and each ono1 was elected by acclamation and received hearty apr pla'uso. It has been a very successful ndralslstrtlqn, from every pojnt ot view, and tho Board pledged Us sup- port to tho officers for tho next year. Mr. Georgo Torgeson was electod to fill the vacancy, of Mr. J. F. Feathor-slono. Feathor-slono. 'All committees will remain tho same until their successors are appointed. -3 It was decided at the meeting that ihe Club have" an 'exhibit of tine ap-1 plea sent to the Vermont Building and placed in the Cache 'County wall, caso, during the- ''Utah Products- Weak"' which begins April -l." Tho Board-has Board-has also made a special requost ot ' Mr. Jos. Qulnney Jr. to have a flnet sugar exhibit' from the Amalgamated Sugar Co. placed In tho Vermont Building during conferenco week and now is a- flno opportunity: to mako a good display for Cache Valley.. Mr. Ras. Rasmussen has consented to pick out and pack tho apples for the display. A letter from Mr. C. A. (Horse) Smith oW Dillon stated 'that ho had ,sent telegrams Into Canada, Montana, Oregon, and many other places tor borse buyers to attend the big horse saio on iho 12 and 13. Tho club has faent postors to every town In tho Valley as well as to out side scttlo- ments. It Is to bo hoped that tho horse raisers will tako advantag'o ot this opportunity and got their horses In shape for tho salo, as tboy will io-celve io-celve no doubt very good prices, and money coming into tbo Valley at this tlmo of the year will help out a great deal. Everybody will bo benefited either directly or Indirectly. It this can.be made an annual salolt will establish a good market for 'tho horses hor-ses and tbo, horse ralsora 'c'an'afwayB mako arrangements to have their horses In condition at this1 time.
