Utah, Juno 12, 13 and 14. "The Logan convention will bo tho greatest good roads gathering In tho history of the entire west," said Mr. Sherman. "Every county commissioner, commission-er, every road overseer, every public official In the six states covered by the association who has anything to do with the disbursements of public funds on public roads, should make it a point to attend. Every farmer, ev-eiy ev-eiy automobile man, every merchant who trades with farmers who haul their produce to market over bad roads, should be among those present. Logan has prepared a splendid program pro-gram of entertainment. Road experts from all over the country will be there. The Logan convention committee lias had prltcd some attractive folders fold-ers containing reasons why delegates should attend the convention, nmong these reasons being: It Is tho grcntest event of the west this year. "See Europe If you must, but see the west first." Our scenery Is superior to thnt of Europe. If we get good roads, money that nutolsts spend In Europe will be spent In the west. Good roads mean an expenditure of millions ot dollars nt our very doors that Is now- being spent in other lands. Information concerning the "Good Roads Movement" will be Imparted ut this convention that no public-spirited Individual can afford to miss. Governor William Spry will deliver the opening address at 1 p. m., June 12th. The Good Roads Exhibit, from the U. S. Department of Agriculture, will be on exhibition at this convention with lecturers, working models, nnd stercoptlcon views. Mr. E. 'Vy. James, Chief Inspector ot Public Ronds of the Department of1 Agriculture, will speak. Mr. A. G. Batcheldor, of New York, chairman of the executive committee the American Automobile association, associa-tion, will address the convention. Mr. Jesse Taylor, editor of "Better Roads," a "stem winder" on good roads, from Jamestown, will also make an address. Former Governor James H. Brady, of ldnhp, Is on tho program. An nutomoblle parade will be a feature. Musical programs, Including an evening muslcale by the best talent ot the stnte.
