I hear her volco among tho trees, i swcot melodious nlr, s When wooing zephyrs kiss tho leaves Caressingly with care. She visits every hillside bare And leaves a dainty flower f Sho plants her footsteps everywhere With loving, mnglc power. The sjlent wood sho decorates With generous hand bestows; Tie Woodblno follows ln her. Wake, Tho Hawthorn and Wild 'nose. Tho murm'rlng brook through lonely dell Warmed by her fragrant breath. With happiness her bosom swells And sings no more of death. Ohl Spring, ot all tho seasons four, Tl ou are to mo most dear; In thee I find a wealth of lore, Of comfort and of cheer.
