Show Dies In Mission Field Elder Joseph W. Maynes Succumbs To Heart Trouble In Great Britain. President Joseph F. Smith is In receipt re-ceipt of a cublo message from President Presi-dent Rudger Clawson of tho British Mission, announcing the death, June 9, of Elder Joseph W. Maynes of this city, who for almost two years had been laboring In that mission. Death was caused by heart trouble. Elder Maynos was set apart Juno 15, 1910, and left Salt Lake for England Eng-land on the following day. At tho time of his death he wbb laboring In tho Gloucester branch, and until today to-day tho relatives In Salt Lalco had no knowledgo of his sickness. For some weeks they have expected to re-colvo re-colvo word that bo had been rcloased, and would leave soon for homo. Elder Maynes leaves a widow, Mre. Emily Keep Maynes, and six children. Joseph W. Jr., Richard John, Alfred Samuel, Emily Jane, John Keep and James Arthur Maynes. |
