B Dr. Peterson, though a young man, B being born In Weber county, August B 26, 1882, has had splendid preparation B for the work which ho will now as- HE aume. His early college training was S received at tho Utah Agricultural B College, from which institution ho B received tho degrco of D. S. with tho ,3B class of '04. After graduation he e"n- B tcred Cornell University at Ithaca, Hf New York, rcclvlng the degrco of Ph. f D. In 1911. Dr. Peterson was connect- B cd with tho Oregdn Agricultural Col- S ,c8o aB Professor of Dacterlology, and B has been for tho past few years tho S Professor of Bacteriology, and Physl- ology at tho Utnh Agricultural College. Col-lege. The announced policy of the College Col-lege that "the whole state Is tho campus" will bo tho dominant thought in all future work of the Institution. In-stitution. Tho prlmo object ot tho College is not to confine con-fine its usefulness to the Collcgo site at Logan, but to reach out to every Individual within the state and give him tho opportunities which modern education affords.
