The Logan City council met In special session Tuesday night to consider con-sider Mayor Edwards's recommedda- : tlons In regard to the Electrlo light , system, and other pertinent matters. There was no vote but the preponderance of feeling seemed to be against the raise recommended, 'tis said. Various other minor matters received consld- I cratloii as follows: ! I It was ordered that certain portions j of the City Park be rented, also cer tain portions of cUy property now unused. un-used. In response to a letter from the State Board of Health asking that the 4ft Health Officer of this city attend the annual convention in Salt Lake city 1 April 2nd, it was agreed that the city would bear the expense, according to law. Mayor Edwards and Councllraen I Carlson and Ilayball were named as a committee to cooperate with Forest Supervisor Woodruff In perfecting an organization of owners of cattle and sheep and others who make a beneficial benefi-cial uscof the Bear River National Forest. In a communication to the council Mr. Woodruff set forth the advantages ad-vantages of such an organization, and urged that tho council assist In working work-ing up the organization, which would Include all those Interested between Paradise and ITyrum on the south and Soda Springs on the north. Such organizations or-ganizations on the other side of the range are in working shape now. |
