I at once took In the situation and added granlto work to the marble. I made arrangements with a II rm In Aberdeen, Scotland, to manufacture monuments and tablets and ship them to mo. I have sold many monuments of the Westerly and Ilarre granite, believing they are tho best and most durable of the American granites I have also used some Qulncy granite. Thesu different granites, gran-ites, with tho marble work, were the chief materials used."
