Show TVO FUNERAL SERVICES The funeral service over the remains of John Crowther was held Id the Logan Lo-gan tabernacle at 2 p, m. yesterday, under the direction of the bishopric of the Fifth ward. Singing was conducted conduct-ed by Alex. B. Lewis, the opening hymn being "Nearer My God to Thee." Prayer was offered by James A. Lelshman, after which President Budge, James Quayle,.Thomat Morgan, Mor-gan, Samuel Boskelley and President Isaao Smith dwelt upon the devotion and fidelity of tho deceased. While unassuming In life, he possessed those characteristics which carried conviction convic-tion of his uprightness as a man. Mpl-vln Mpl-vln Ballard sang "Oh, My Father." The temple workers were there as a body of mourners. Tho benediction was offered by Newell Kimball. There was a largo attendance at the Julia Lundberg funeral service held In the Seventh ward meeting house Thursday at one p. m. The speakers were: T. A. Thoresoh, N. P. Nielsen Jr., Mclvln Ballard, August Hansen, J. A. Hendrlckson and Jos. E. Cardon. The speakers were all personally acquainted ac-quainted with the deceased and dwelt upon her sterling worth In all that the word implies. N. P. NeltscnJr. spoke In behalf ot the employes of the R. M. Bell telelJhone company, who were there In A full attendance. An elegant floral harp was tendered by them, and many other handsome offerings of-ferings were In evidence. August Hansen and Mclvln Ballard each sang 8olos-"Jesus Is Calling," and 'Oh My Father." ) |
