Show FLORENCE ROSKELLEY FUNERAL SMITHFIELD, Feb. 24. On . H Sunday last our spacious tabcr- H uncle was filled to overflowing to H pay their last respects to one of our most lovable women, Sister jH Florence Roskcllcy Rend, who departed from this life on Fcbru- ,H ary 20th. Sister Read gave birth '.il to a fine boy baby and expired. a - few hours later. The cause of I H death was due to heart failure. i -H Florence was greatly loved by $ -H all the community, and such love ujl wns well merited; npt only for fjl her sunshiny nature and personal fjH charms, but for her strict fUH nbodicucet o duty and her high " H regard for her religion. She wns V Hl mi urdent worker in the Primary ! nssoeintiou, young Indies, etc., 'jl nnd never seemed to tire of well l doing or felt that she gavo too ,')H much time to the public. She . fll gave love and unselfishness and fll received nil the love aud respect i she could crave in return. ; H George Done, Matthias Cowley, .H Prcst. Alma M'errill, B. W. Hcnd- jH ricks and Bishop Winn ull spoke jH beautifully of tho deceased. The ' choir of which she was a member. H rendered some touching pieces. 'H Tho flower.s were profuse and H very beautiful. Tho choir had a fl harp of natural flowers, the ll Second ward Primary nnd tho fH Sunday School each had an ap- , propriato design. iH The community sympathize H with the family, also with the 'H goiing Husband. .H Florence wns n daughter of H Patriarch Samuel Roskcllcy nnd 'H .Mary June Kighy Roskcllcy, nnd :H was about twenty-three years H old. Many friends from Logan, jH Newton, Richmond nnd Lewiston H were at the funeral services. 'H Sister Chloo Burnham and Wm. H Merrill of the Primnry stnko ' JH board, were also there. jH . H |
