Mr. Cooper was an honest H i man, a loving husband, a kind and V ' j. atfecttonate father and a dovotcd Lat- B ' ' ter-day Saint, and died In the hope of Hs f a glorious resurrection with the just. H The funeral of Isaac Green, who B , ( died so suddenly a little over a week H r ago, was held In the meeting house on H Sunday. A great many people turned H ' out to pay respects to his memorv, as l he was a man that was well known in B ' our community, having been one of Bvr the early pioneers of our town. All the spcakors were well K acquainted with him and testified to H his honesty and of his Integrity for H the H Isaac Green was born June 13, 18.12, H near Bristol, England, and Joined the H church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints In 1851; came to Utah in 1857 !and to Wcllsvlllo In the early sixties, I " where ho has lived over since. Klder h 1 Green was a man of God, u true Lat- B , tor-day Saint and died in the hope of life a glorious resurrection with the Just. Mr. Joseph Gunncll and Miss Alice Redford were married in the Logan temple yesterday, and a swell wedding reception was given them last night, The schools had a grand time in the pavilion on Monday night. Our pupils are doing tine under the able management manage-ment of Principal George Harding. Elder Joseph Green has returned from a very successful mission In California. Cali-fornia. It was a sad home-coming, as he did not know of the death of hU father until he got to Salt Lake City. He got here for the funeral. |
