It Is a great thing, "00 leet long and when empty she weighs lo.oootons. It Is so largo that one could almost get lost on board the vessel; It Is like being lu a town The city of Hoston Is laid out In a peculiar shape.'I he streets run In all direction producing three cornered corner-ed and four cornered blocks and there are blocks which have no corners at all, becauso they are rounding, The elevated roads and artltlclal streets aro a marvel and !ie noise and bustle of tho town will keep one awake providing one is not too sleepy. I wish to say to ray many friends that I am well and send my best regards to thcro all. The Lord has been very kind to me thus far. Alma Wi:nkn. |
