There are tl several in our midst who arc quite SH sick with la grippe, but we are thank- r"l ful for the general good health wo arc 1 enjoying and for the blessings of plenty rl of everything that Is necessary for the tl supported comfort of man. Thanks- il giving day passed off quietly. All of ll the ward had a social and enjoyable H time, everyone enjoying the quietude rH of home and turkey. The dance in I'l tho afternoon for tho Primary children H was enjoyed by the little ones. The '1 evening before Thanksgiving day the -ll schools gave a very Interesting and , highly educational program. The pro- - gram rendered consisted of songs, reel- "1 tations, muslo and readings, the pa- H rents and all present enjoying the ! ' ' After 11 vo years of severe and pain- H ful afillctlon caused by rheumatism, H Sister Annie M. Burgensen, wife of rH Niels Burgensen, passed to her rest : Sunday evening, November 24, and was ' burled on Wednesday, November 27, 'lH Bishop N. W. Crookston conducting the services. The speakers were: ' Christian Larsen, Carl Nyman, Ralph ,H Smith, Andrew Nyman, Peter C. Lar- ' H sen and Bishop Crookston. The serv- Ices were very beautiful Indeed. There ' ' ! was something of that peaceful, loving H spirit of the departed sister that per- 'Jl vaded the atmosphere, while her l friends mingled their tears with those " ''"H of her family members. She was a H true, good, noble wife and tlio fondest iH of mothers to five sons, all of whom H are living. Her patience and coufage ',;' in the midst of her pain and afillctlon ' ' was admirable and altogether beautl- i ful. The floral offerings were grand. '! The remain; were followed to the 'H Logan cemetery by the relatives and H friends, and the grave with all that l pertained to it was dedicated by Bro. ' H Petersen. Thus Sister Burgensen was t H laid in her last resting place to await , H the dawning of the resurrection morn- " 'H lng. May her remains rest In peace. jH Ephraim Burgensen, of Cornish, Ida., .H Joseph, Arthur and Charles Burgen- - . H sen of Lewlston, Melvln W. Hogan of r '1 natch, Idaho, and II. T. Petersen of 1 Trenton, all attended the funeral of Sl Sister Burgensen. - |
