Show DEMOCRATIC TRICKERY Democracy Is striving to make the Agricultural College the only Issue In tho local campaign. That may bo a legitimate political move.but tho public pub-lic should not be led wholly astray. If Democracy can convince the voters that democrats and only democrats can save the Agricultural College from destruction and thus secure tho dec tion of the democratic legislative ticket, It is more than probable that the great majority of the nominees on tho democratic county ticket will be elected, also. This Is what tho democratic demo-cratic buccaneers desire more than the election of the democratlvo legislative ticket, an'' If by hook or crook they can "regain Paradise lost," as ''Hro " Thorcson said, democracy wouldn't care a rap about the distinguished ox-spellbinders ox-spellbinders who now grace the head pf the ticket. We have no doubt that Messrs. Harber, Ncbeker, Monson and Owejt would do ull they pooslbly could for the college In case they are elected butwc are willing to wager a ten dollar dol-lar William, (that is If wc could borrow bor-row one) that Democracy would gladly glad-ly sacrlllco tho whole bunch If thev could thereby secure the election of the remainder of the county ticket. Republicans should not be hood-winked by democratic sophistry nordltched by tholfour wise men from the north, south and center. |
