Sam Hunt was very seriously Injured Injur-ed Saturday afternoon at Trenton while attempting to get out of the way of an oncoming train on Ills steam . r thresher. Ills Injuries consist of a very badly lacerated face, broken nose, broken shouldcr.arm and 9 forearm, live broken ribs and severe bruises, besides severe scalding of faco and body. Internal injury was suspected and his life despaired of.but at present writing, Mr. Hunt Is pro-gresslng pro-gresslng as well as can be expected, considering the serious nature of his injuries; The steamer and separator were both badly damaged. A large number of guests were present and were entertained enter-tained wih music and games, and a very bountiful supper was served. The bride and bridegroom were started on their life's,, Journey most pleasantly and favorably, and their friends wish them many happy returns of their wedding day. Mrs. (Dr.) Smith left Thursday evening for Jacksonville, III., to look after C. D. Anderson who is ill witli typhoid fever. On arriving at Ogden nlrs. Smith received a message stating stat-ing that Mr. Anderson was much belter bel-ter and that It was unnecessary to go at present. Messrs. and Mesdames. A. J. Hover-Idge, Hover-Idge, Geo. While Wilson Thornley, son of Win. Thoruley, and ills little brother wore cutting weeds he was struck In the mouth with a beet cutter and the lip cut thro and a tooth loosened. Parley Chambers returned Saturday night from Chicago where ho spent somo time sight seeing. Parley thinks Chicago is a lino place, but is glad to get home again. Leonard Olscn and David Daloff wll, leave on their mission about Oct. 15th. Richard Smith Is going to New Zealand Zea-land In December on his mission. Mrs. Ellen Tlramons arrived home Wednesday from McCaramon. Mrs. J. J. Richardson has returned from her visit to Canada. Mrs. Wcslev Klrkbride Is spending a few days with relatives.
