Practical Work Pertaining to Farm Shop and Home. j The Agricultural College of; Utah, in accordance with- the general spirit of Land Grant College wori, aim.j primarily to' provide a thorough and practical education for the industrial classes. Many people to whoc a college training would be o great value are unable, becausi of their home duties, to take rtgular course which require; their attendance through the eri tire year. For the accoinod; tion of those who can a .tet school during the winter rnont only, the Agricultural Colle of Utah has arranged spec' winter courses beginning ji uary 6. Tne great value of such courses has ! long since been demonstrated. The probability . of success, whether, on the farm or in the shop or in. the home,, is greatly increased by a few week's work under trained specialists, with every facility for the practical application of the . principles studied, The Agricultural College was founded and is maintained by the Federal government and by the State of Utah, for the improvement improve-ment of conditions among the in-dustri in-dustri 1 classes. The people of this City, County, and State should take advantage of the opportunities op-portunities that are thus provided. provid-ed. The College is the peoples ' institution and the people should get as, much from it as passible. Every class-room and lab oratory and shop should be. crowded to its utmost capacity.
