Show Successful Recital. , The recital given by Miss! Ruth Evelyn Moench and pupils at the Agricultural college Friday Fri-day evening was a most successful success-ful affair. The first number was a pleasing pleas-ing piano-solo by Miss Oliver, followed by a recitation, ,-The Soul of the Violin," delivered in creditable style by Miss Cynthia Hill. Miss Love recited the humorous selection, "Our Whip-pins, Whip-pins, " with excellent effect, and Miss Smart recited two humorous humor-ous selections in a most amusing manner. Miss Minnie Peterson sang "September" beautifully, and Miss Annie Edwards recited "GiaidoFerrsmfci" in a charming manner. Other selections were also rendered, and the affair reflected re-flected great credit on Miss Moench and the talented young ladies of her elocution class. |
