Show j County Officers Assume Duties ' - On Monday last the recently elected county officers assumed their official duties. Commissioners Commis-sioners B. A. Hendricks, W. H. Darley and C. L. Anderson took charge of the affairs of the coun-ty, coun-ty, Messrs. Edwards, Anderson, and Allen retiring. B. A. Hendricks was elected chairman, on motion of Commissioner Commis-sioner Anderson. Treasurer W. C. Parkinson replaced re-placed Mr. Hendricks, and appointed ap-pointed George O. Hayball as his temporary deputy. Assessor Richardson replaced Mr. Jones and appointed E. R. Nielsen as his deputy. In the recorder's office, Mrs. Rebecca Eames replaced Mrs. ' Jennie Slater. No aids ha ve ; as yet been named. Mrs. Aletha Bowen and Miss Telford being j temporarily retained. i Miss Mamie Eames was appointed ap-pointed deputy recorder. ! ' ' County Clerk Farrell will retain re-tain his position in accordance - with the decision of Judge Hart, and appointed H. J .
