Mrs. Martha Ann Taylor bolng present gavo a roport of tho tablo while It was In their caro. Sho stated tho tablo was In practically tho samo condition whon thoy retired, as whon thoy took chnrgo of It. Mrs. Mary Ann Southwlck confirmed this roport as sho was treasurer and Janitor for nlnotoon yoars. Chairman Roberts gavo hor roport of tho lntervlow with Editor Banks. Tho tablo was in' tho building and Inspected by all tho ladles presont. Mrs. Ellon Jones gavo a very Interesting Inter-esting talk on tho work that the ladlos of tho North West Branch did for tho Onyx Tablo, and stated thoy woro all very proud ot It, Mrs. Carrio Ball told how hor son William bought tho silver from Mr. John Bock for tho trimming Of tho table. Mrs. Collstla Schow gavo hor roport of tho Onyx Tablo. Mrs. Kato Allrod suggested tho tablo bo fixed as near llko tho original as posslblo. Mrs. Julia Brown said It was' hor opinion .that tho tablo should bo restored re-stored to tho custodian In tho samo mannor that It was originally. Mrs. Hannah Andorson and Mary Otterson gavo a fow romarks on tho restoration ot tho tablo. Moved and carriod a committoo ot throo bo appointed with tho prlvllogo of choslng two moro to moot with tho City Council to petition financial aid toward restoring the tablo to its original form. Moved and carried that October 12 bo choson as the day to mako tho presentation to tho City.
