Ono ot tho biggest events ot tho weok was our got acquainted party given Monday ovonlng. It was a vory delightful ovont. Several other parties part-ies and entertainments hnvo beon glvon in honor ot us. I havo attondod soveral lectures and demonstrations during tho weok. Ono demonstration was given on bread making by ono of tho homo economics classes. This was a vory Interesting demonstration for us girls who woro aklng tho baking project. Wo learned learn-ed mnny valuablo things about broad. All wo girls and our Instructor Miss Chrlstonson went through tho whole wheat bread factory and learned how this brend was prepared and also tho vnluo of whole wheat bread. This was something now to us; as I understand It, this is tho only bakery in tho United States which mnkoa broad from tho wholo whoat flour. Thoro Is a special program outlined for each day. Wo riso at G:45 A. M. and mako preparation for breakfast. Wo eat at tho U. A. a. r.ntntnri Then wo go to tho gymnasium whoro wo take exorclsos each morning. Wo hold regulnr sessions each morning at 10 A. M. Tho afternoon Is gonorally spont In dopartmeut wqrk nnd touring tho campus. I cortalnly admlro tho peoplo con-nocted con-nocted with tho U. A.
